Family Art Days are free community outreach events offering families an environment to create art and explore the galleries. Hands-on art activities are inspired by the current exhibitions—Holly Van Hart’s Possibilities Abound, and Salon at the Triton Museum. Better than video games, Family Art Days are fun, interactive events for the whole family. Registration is not required.

Our annual statewide competition and exhibition is one of our most popular and beloved events. For the first time ever, the competition encompasses all 2D media: photography, printmaking, painting, drawing, and mixed media. Join us for a celebration of the artists, where cash prizes, honorable mentions in each category, and two grand prize winners will be revealed. Each Grand Prize Winner will be awarded with a solo exhibition at the Triton in 2016—a life-changing opportunity for emerging artists.
