ArtStudio - Summer Classes

On-site art classes are offered throughout the year in a variety of media for all ages and levels of training. Together with our professional artist/educators, students explore the creative process in a supportive and experimental environment, and all classes involve educational experiences in the museum galleries.

Plein air

Monday afternoons, 1:30-4:00 p.m.,July 9 - August 13, 6 week session

Landscape Painting with Ray Mendieta

Learn to work from direct observation through the confident techniques of the California Impressionists and modern day plein air painters. This class on the immediacy of plein air painting is perfect for beginners and advanced students alike. All levels welcome.
