On-site art classes are offered throughout the year in a variety of media for all ages and levels of training. Together with our professional artist/educators, students explore the creative process in a supportive and experimental environment, and all classes involve educational experiences in the museum galleries.

Fees: $85 members, $105 general
Drawing Class for Grades K-8
Experiment with strong lines, vibrant color and composition using various drawing materials such as charcoal, pencil, chalks, oil pastels and more. Learn new techniques that will bring your drawings to life! Grades K-2 will learn about line, shadow, and composition to create more imaginative, polished drawings. Students in the Grades 3-5 and 6-8 classes will learn to create depth using shadow, and bring perspective and proportion to their drawings. All classes will look at modern and contemporary artists to draw inspiration and hone their visual skills and vocabulary.
