The Pastel Society of the West Coast was founded in 1985 by a handful of artists from Northern California who had a vision to promote the historic pastel medium. Over the years the PSWC has grown to become the second largest pastel society in the United States.

This July the Triton Museum of Art will showcase a juried exhibition of works by PSWC members. It is an excellent opportunity to see many styles and impressions of this delicate and difficult medium by some of the best pastel artists working today.
