Visiting Info

Among the most popular exhibitions offered by the Triton Museum of Art are the annual Statewide Competitions & Exhibitions. For the first time, the Competition includes all forms of 2D media: painting, drawing, printmaking, and photography. To accommodate this expanded and more inclusive competition & exhibition, a full 2/3 of our entire exhibition space is dedicated to the presentation of the selected works.

One of the most popular features of our past exhibitions has been the Best of Show awards, which is a solo exhibition for the winning artist. This is a major opportunity for any artist. This year, in keeping with the expanded focus, the jurors will award TWO Best of Show winners with solo exhibitions in 2016. Congratulations to all talented Salon participants, and to those who received special accolades (listed below).

Cheers our two 2014 Best of Show award winners: Yao-Pi Hsu (photographer, Flow and Splash) and Stephanie Lam (oil painter, African Child III)!

The 2D Competition and Exhibition will be on view through February 8, 2015.

"ATTENTION EXHIBITING ARTISTS: Your artwork may be picked up in the Museum during operating hours (Tuesday - Saturday, 11 AM - 5 PM; Sunday, 12 PM - 4 PM. Closed Mondays)."
