Suggested Materials
6, 16”x20” Gallery Style Canvas (thin format okay as long as no staples)
1 Palette Knife or Painting Knife
1 Pad of Paper Palette or Peel off Plastic Palette for mixing paint
1 Container for water
1 Roll of shop or paper towels
Wet Ones Wipes
White All Stabilo pencils
Acrylic Colors (2 oz.) (Golden, Liquitex, Grumbacher, or Amsterdam preferred but any ok)
Suggested Colors
Quin Magenta, Hansa Yellow Lt, Manganese Blue Hue, Cerulean Blue Hue, Ultramarine Blue,Cobalt Blue, Prussian Blue, Yellow Ochre, Raw Sienna, Naples Yellow, Burnt Sienna ,Burnt Umber, Paynes Grey, Sap Green, Zinc White ( Mixing White), Titanium White, Ivory , Mars,Bone, or Carbon Black, Dioxazine Violet. Pthalo Green, Titanium Buff (Unbleached titanium),Cad Red Light ( or pyrolle red), Cad Yellow Light, Raw Umber. Cad orange or Pyrolle Orange, cad yellow medium.

Jeff Bramshreiber

Jeff Bramschreiber has been drawing and painting for over forty years, and while he is primarily a pastelist, he also frequently works in acrylic, watercolor, silverpoint most dry media and even airbrush. His artworks hang in private collections throughout the United States and Europe and have received many awards. A local art advocate, he has served as an art club president, (East Valley Artists and Santa Clara Art Association), as a juror with nearly fifty shows to his credit, as treasurer and lecturer for Silicon Valley Open Studios, as a demonstrator and lecturer for many of the Bay Areas’ art clubs, colleges and museums. Jeff also worked at University Art San Jose for 21 years before its closing in 2018 as an assistant Manager, Frame Designer, and Community Art Liaison. Mr. Bramschreiber has also helped coordinate, organize, and participate in numerous local art shows, group shows and events throughout his career. Currently he is President of the Board of Trustees for the Triton Museum of Art in Santa Clara, an exhibiting and “live paint” artist at Kaleid Gallery in Downtown San Jose; Jeff is also an art instructor for the Triton Museum of Art , The Rosicrucian Egyptian Museum, The Pacific Art League and The Villages Arts and Crafts Association.
